Kents Field Trip

We went to Kent's farm a local farm that grows and sells pumpkins and Christmas Tree's yesterday. Oh did I say its now snowing here already. Nothing that is sticking but there is snow on a few vehicles in the parking lot that came from some of the higher altitudes. Staph's teacher is such a sweet heart I'm so pleased. Here is a picture of Steph on the wagon out to the pumpkin patch and then one in the pumpkin hut with her friend Matty they also went to pre-school together last year.

Book Review

With four little ones and working all week its hard to find time to read so I average around 5 or 6 books a year. There are very few books that I can say I couldn't put it down this is one I could not put down. I would highly recommend reading Philippa Gregorys The other Boleyn girl. I'm going to the library today to pick up another book by Phillippa the Boleyn inheritance. I may have found a favorite new author.

My Pumpkins

Its that time when every one gets pumpkins well were no different. My parents had gotten the kids all a pumpkin and some how we ended up and had two grow from a seed from last year in our garden. Two of the pumpkins my parents got turned bad really fast so I remembered some thing I seen in a magazine last fall. We took drafting dots small round stickers and placed them all over the pumpkin at first there was a pattern then we just put them any were. After that we took it and painted it black with spray paint. We let the paint dry and then pealed off all the stickers. We now have a polka dotted pumpkin.

Solutions are Within our Grasp
In the United States today, 1 in 8 babies is born prematurely. More newborns die from premature birth than any other cause. But solutions are within our grasp. Together, we can find the causes of premature birth, ensure moms get health care during pregnancy and create workplaces that support maternal and infant health.
Act now and let everyone know it's time to do more to help moms have healthy, full-term babies. November is March of Dimes Prematurity Awareness Month. Sign the
Petition for Preemies.
Want to make an even bigger difference? Please
